Catherine Brown BA/LLB/GD Bus Admin/FAICD is the Principal Consultant and Director of Catherine Brown & Associates, which was established in 1999 to support innovation and best practice in philanthropic and not for profit organisations.
Ms Brown is a management consultant and lawyer with experience in the fields of human services, philanthropy, governance and organisational development of not for profit organisations, corporate community engagement, and related project management and research. Catherine was CEO of the Brain Foundation for three years. She established her own consulting company in 1999.
Catherine Brown & Associates provides consulting services to a wide range of organisations including, amongst others, The Myer Foundation, Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, ANZ Trustees, Deakin University, City of Darebin (community foundation project), The Catherine Freeman Foundation, United Nations University and others. Catherine Brown is a Member of the Law Institute of Victoria and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
