• The number of community foundations worldwide has grown by 21 per cent since 2005
• There are now 1,441 community foundations in 51 countries

The report is divided into two parts. Part 1 is an overview of community foundations trends and a review of trends and developments by region. Part 2 includes country profiles, submitted by the local community foundation support organisations.
