Evaluation as a Pathway to Learning

This report was informed by the work of the Grantmakers for Effective Organisations' 2005 Evaluation Roundtable. It examines current topics in philanthropic evaluation with examples of the evaluation approaches of a number of grantmakers. The report also details tips and advice on incorporating a results-based focus into grantmaking work, and on incorporating results into knowledge and learning, without making a large investment.
