Community Development Overview
Community development is a process that involves the community working together, and with government and business, to improve and enhance the conditions and circumstances of the community. "Community" most often refers to a population living in a common geographic location, but it may also refer to a group of people with common interests or industry, such as the community of farmers or of teachers.
