International Programs Overview
Most Australian foundations are limited to funding only within Australia by stipulation in their Trust Deed or the Will by which they were established. Others are able to fund projects which take place overseas, but only if the project is carried out by an organisation which is on the list of Overseas Aid Funds approved for tax deductibility by the Treasurer. A full list of approved funds is on the AusAid website at http://www.ausaid.gov.au/ngos/approved_funds.cfm.
