PhilanthropyWiki:Stub
From PhilanthropyWiki
A stub is a page that has only the most basic information and acts as a placeholder, indicating the need for its content to be expanded.
As the content in the PhilanthropyWiki is constantly being built on and expanded, there are a number of "stubs". It is worth keeping in mind that while we intend the PhilanthropyWiki to be as extensive as possible, we also recognise that it will never be, in essence, "complete". Pages marked as "stubs" are pages that require considerably more expansion.
Labelling an article with the Stub template also automatically places it in the Stub category, which is used by the PhilanthropyWiki:Administrators to keep track of the pages that require expansion, and target our efforts accordingly. We encourage our Members to help us expand these pages by contributing to stubs where they can.
The term "stub" has been adopted from Wikipedia.
