Since 1999 The Ian Potter Cultural Trust has run a biennial program, The Ian Potter Music Commissions, to support the composition and performance of Australian Music. In 2005 the Music Commissions became a fellowship program to support one emerging composer and one established composer for the creation of a portfolio of work over two years, and the performance of the works.
